【隨藝話】烤南瓜盅 Roasted Pumpkin Bowl

我決定以我現有的材料試做- 南瓜、馬鈴薯、豬絞肉、紅蘿蔔和蕃茄。
第一步:切開頭部,然後挖空南瓜籽

I decided to try to roast Pumpkin Bowl with ingredients I had-
Pumpkin, Potato, Pork mince, Carrot and Tomato.

At first: cut the top off  the Pumpkin and then removed seed.






將南瓜置於烤箱,上下火攝氏180度烤30分鐘,
別忘了偶爾翻面。

Roasted the Pumpkins in the oven, 180 degrees Celsius and roasted for about 30 minutes,
don't forget to rotate pumpkin occasionally.






將剩下的食材炒熟後,填入烤好的南瓜盅裡。

Cooked the rest of ingredients and filled Pumpkin up with the it.



第一次試做,不是很滿意,我認為可以先蒸南瓜約十分鐘,
填入內餡後再進烤箱。

That was first time for me to roast Pumpkin Bowl
and I wasn't very satisfied with flavor.
I regain I could had steamed Pumpkin for about 10 minutes firstly,
then roasted it after.

【隨藝話】酵頭蛋餅 Pancake (sourdough starter)

這是很常見且簡單的酵頭利用方式 - 煎餅皮,只要加上一顆蛋、
鹽巴和一些香料 (非必需)。

This is quite normal and easy to make a pancake with sourdough starter,
break an egg into it, add a pinch of salt, 
and a little bit of dried herbs. (not necessary).








抹少許油在鍋裡,倒進麵糊並分佈均勻,煎至兩面微焦即可。
Wipe a little oil on the pan, pour the starter in and distribute it,
fry the pancake until both sides brown.






我加了些剩菜和薯條作搭配,蛋餅好吃。
I had it with some leftovers from the night before and chips as well,
the pancake tasted nice.

【隨藝話】3D烤籠加熱薯條 Used the 3D cage to heat up frozen chips

之前,我總得等薯條解凍後,才能放在烤盤上加熱且不斷地翻動才行,
因為舊烤箱並沒有風扇也沒有旋轉烤籠。
這堆薯條剛由冷凍室被取出,我直接將它放入烤籠並進烤箱,
然後才通電加熱。

Before, I couldn't heat up French fries till they defrosted,
and keep turning chips over occasionally,
otherwise they would be scorched because there wasn't a cage could be use in the old oven,
no fan either. 

I took the chips out of freezer and directly put them in the oven without preheating oven.







附桿上直接由一端插入、穿過另一孔即可。

This is the hole where to insert the bar and go through to another end.








別忘了在烤盤上放上烘焙紙,否則那股焦味將令你終身難忘。

Placed a baking paper on the plate to prevent fat dripping and scorching in the oven,
trust me, you don't want to smell it after.








上、下溫度設定為攝氏180度,時間預設40分鐘,風扇搭配旋轉功能。
烘烤後的薯條風味和口感都不錯,可沾些醋一起吃更爽口。

I set top and bottom temperature into 180 degrees Celsius, heating time was 40 minutes,
and left both Fan and Rotating on all the time.
The flavor and texture were nice, crispy and not greasy at all,
it would be awesome if I enjoyed it with vinegar.
